Content xp has established strict policies to ensure the privacy of our clients. The terms and rules regarding the use of information from our clients is found below. These policies may be updated periodically, so please reread them periodically.

Data Collection

All data collected by Content xp during its consulting and licensing processes is kept strictly confidential. This data includes all personal information obtained during the initial registration, including your name, email address, and other data that allow us to offer personalized services. Complementary information of a commercial and professional nature may be requested periodically in order to complete transactions or added to your profile by the site itself, based on your visit and purchase records.

Use of Information

Information is collected from users to streamline and customize our services and allow for personalized communication. The knowledge of each client's profile allows Content xp to provide the most appropriate products and services for individual needs. Geographical data, demographics, and user profiles may also be used to generate statistics for informative or commercial purposes.

These statistics are divulged with the sole aim of characterizing market segments for partners, sponsors, and advertisers, among others - but will not be sold or furnished to third parties under any circumstance, except when required by law.

Access to Information

The information collected by Content xp is collected solely for the company's use. Suppliers and copyright holders have access to information only when pertinent to financial translations and contracts for licensed content.

Financial operations take place in a secure banking environment. Content xp may request that the banking institution furnish the numbers of invoices issued on its behalf in order to confirm payment.

Information Sharing

Content xp will not divulge information that may reveal the identity of a client without their express authorization or under the following circumstances:

  • Content xp may divulge information about its clients, suppliers and partners subject to consultation with each client or through contracts for the use of licensed content that may contain additional terms regarding the sharing of client information.
  • Correspondence sent to clients by Content xp may regard promotions offered by our partners and suppliers, allowing client to request additional information on the content under offer. When requesting such details, they are implicitly authorizing Content xp to provide the partner or supplier with the registration information needed in order to meet such a request.
  • Under confidentiality agreements and other contractual agreements, Content xp may compare user information with data from third parties.
  • Content xp may divulge information on users only in special cases, for example, when such information is necessary to identify, contact, or take legal action against any agent that violates or interferes - intentionally or otherwise - with the rights or property of Content xp, its suppliers, and third parties.
  • Content xp may divulge information on users when required by law - or for administrative purposes necessary to maintain and/or improve products and services.
User Options Regarding the Collection, Use, and Distribution of their Information

Only Content xp or agents working under confidentiality agreements are authorized to send newsletters and promotional offers from Content xp.

Content xp will notify users in advance when requesting information that may be shared with third parties - and clients may choose whether or not to allow this transfer of information. This may mean, however, that the client will not be able to use certain services or participate in certain promotions.

Security Precautions and the Loss, Misuse, or Alteration of Information

Information in each client's Content xp account is protected by an exclusive password that provides access to the personal or business information entered during registration. Personal passwords should be kept secret, and we recommend that corporate passwords only be divulged to the company representatives authorized to carry out financial - researchers and other interested parties may choose to use additional personal passwords to access the site.

In order to avoid accidental or intentional access to classified information, users should take care to log out of their account and close any browser windows used to access restricted areas of the Content xp site.

Passwords should never be given to third parties - not even to Content xp consultants - and should only be used by the person responsible for placing orders. If a temporary password is provided by the system, it should be personalized immediately.

Those responsible for the account should supervise all financial operations on the site carried out by employees in possession of the password.

Content xp does everything in its power to protect our clients' personal and business information, but since no transmission of data via the Internet is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee the complete inviolability of information collected through our site.

Under no circumstances are Content xp, its partners, directors, and employees liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or expenses arising from connection to or use of this site, through performance failure, error, omission, interruption, defect, or delay in the transmission of data and/or the transmission of a computer virus or misuse by users.
